Welcome to the RepRap User Community!

Many of the files here are input files for the RepRap 3D printer. The RepRap is three-axis postitioning system with an thermoplastic extruder much like a motorized glue gun. It makes plastic parts and is made of plastic parts, so it can make copies of itself. It has a build cost of less than USD$500, and the full plans and documentation are released under the terms of the GPL.

This site has a number of different uses.

  • It is for people building RepRaps and the precursor machines we call RepStraps.
  • It is for people to document their other projects, and to share their other creations. If you are building a robot, or a CNC router, or you just want to write up an old tutorial on bookbinding, this site is for you! You can also use it for your sketches, technical drawings, project notes and pictures.
  • Most importantly, this site is for sharing RepRap input files, .stl files or .reprap files. If you've designed something and printed it with your RepRap and now you want to show it off, upload it here! If you see something you want to print on this website, download it and print it!
